Campus Pro-Palestinian and Pro-Hamas Protests, Riots, and Occupations
Recently, violent mobs of pro-Palestinian and pro-Hamas protesters and rioters have attempted to illegally occupy portions of college and university campuses around the nation. The following are four related news videos:
There are notable differences in the way these incidents are being handled depending on the state or jurisdiction in which they occur:
- For states generally considered red states, such as Florida, Georgia, and Texas:
- Rioting, intimidation, illegal occupation of property, etc., are typically met with prompt action by police.
- Those arrested for such illegal activities are sufficiently prosecuted for their actions.
- For states generally considered blue states, such as New York and California:
- The police are prevented from taking action for days, and the illegal occupiers and rioters are able to deeply entrench themselves on property and in buildings.
- Even after being arrested, these people are typically released without bail and often end up with all charges dropped against them.
These groups have the right to protest under the First Amendment, but that right doesn’t cover rioting, harassing or intimidating others, or commandeering portions of college or university property or public property. Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis have both spoken out against these activities:
While these groups have the right to protest peacefully, the views and opinions they’re expressing are misguided and disgusting, and the numbers of people in these groups are disturbing for the well-being of the nation. The mob-like protests are reportedly very similar to pre-Holocaust uprisings.
Colleges and universities are supposed to attract and produce intelligent people who can think critically and objectively, but the mobs of students, professors, and others gathering on the campuses are the exact opposite. They’re like mindless robots that have been programmed and brainwashed to act a certain way and have a certain uniform set of thoughts and beliefs, and their behavior is more like a pack of wild animals rather than intelligent thoughtful people.
Likely elements of the brainwashing:
- The oppressor-oppressed dichotomy: Israel and the Jews are allegedly the oppressors, and the Arabs, Muslims, and Palestinians are allegedly the oppressed.
- Opposition to meritocracy and what the left sometimes calls “ableism”: the United States and Israel have historically favored meritocracy, which is why the mob-like protests reflect hatred of the United States as well as Israel and the Jews.
- Opposition to capitalism and private-sector wealth creation: the United States and Israel have historically favored capitalism and private-sector wealth creation, which again invokes hatred from the mobs.
- Victim mentality and envy: many of these protesters have a self-inflicted victim mentality and an envy and resentment for people who have more or appear to have more, and the protesters believe their mob-like destructive behavior is an appropriate justice to help level the playing field.
This brainwashing has led to some illogical and nonsensical behaviors by the protester mobs:
- Calling Israel an apartheid state even though Israel factually doesn’t operate that way and some of the entities that the protester mobs support, such as Iran and Hamas, operate much like apartheid states.
- Shouting “free Palestine” as if Israel were oppressing Palestine when in fact it is Hamas that has been oppressing Palestine.
- Denying the facts of the massacre in Israel at the hands of Hamas on October 7, 2023, and referring to Israel and its supporters as “baby killers” when that label and similar labels are much more descriptive of Hamas.
- Referring to supporters of Israel and Jews as Nazis when those very protester mobs are actually the ones guilty of Nazi-like behavior.
- Saying things like “We are Hamas” and otherwise identifying with terrorist organizations. Some people in these mobs should be investigated and prosecuted for joining and aiding foreign terrorist organizations.
- Expressing hate for the country in which they’re protesting, the United States, even though the foreign regimes that these mobs support would have no tolerance for such protests and would likely kill the protesters.
The best way to describe the anti-Israel mobs on college and university campuses:
UTTER STUPIDITY AND IGNORANCE
Powerful forces are supporting and tolerating the mob-like activity as indicated by the following:
- The tents and other supplies appearing at the protest locations are identical to one another, indicating that sources with a lot of money, such as George Soros and possibly foreign regimes, are funding the protests.
- Large percentages of the people gathering on college and university campuses are outsiders.
- Joe Biden and other Democrat office holders are either refusing to condemn the mob-like gatherings on campuses or are significantly delaying their responses because of cowardice, corrupt political intent, and desire to earn the radical left vote.
- Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg has taken to releasing all the arrested protesters without charges while simultaneously continuing to pursue Donald Trump and prosecuting people who defend themselves against violent crime in his jurisdiction. This is ultimate corruption of the legal system, and other Democrat jurisdictions are going in the same direction.
Aside from Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis condemning the mob-like activity, others are bravely taking a stand:
